Mental wellbeing is a global mega trend, and the need for digital tools to enhance the mental health resilience and wellbeing is growing.
The HelloMind app has an intuitive design that presents a menu-wheel with 11 different categories: Sleep, Anxiety, Stress, Habits, Motivation, Love, Pregnancy, Weight, Self-esteem, Boosters, and Quick Fixes. Each category guides the user to 2 questions and finally recommends one or several sessions to help solve a current issue. The user downloads a session and then listens to a 30 minutes audio file constructed especially to the subject they have picked. A full treatment consist of 10 sessions. The app uses a range of different psychological tools eg. positive psychology, hypnotherapy and ego strengthening. This application of technology to traditional treatment transforms the experience into a user-friendly and effective tool without restrictions. HelloMind operates with advice from a renown medical advisory board and the app is prize-nominated for both design & usability.
In recent years, a lot of new scientific studies have shown the positive and long-term effects of hypnosis and hypnotherapy. A succesful pilot study using HelloMind was conducted at the Department of Infectious Diseases and the Department of Dermatology at Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark, supervised by prof. Lars Østergaard. The results were positive and significant.
