Health Tech Hub Copenhagen (HTHC) is proud to announce its collaboration with Disability Tech Denmark, a newly launched initiative dedicated to driving innovation for people with disabilities. This strategic alliance marks an important step towards ensuring that health technologies are designed with inclusivity at their core, enabling higher life quality and independence for individuals of all abilities.
Disability Tech Denmark aims to build a strong ecosystem focused on creating, scaling, and implementing technologies that improve the quality of life for people with disabilities. As a collaborator alongside other highly qualified organisations and companies in this field, HTHC will contribute its health tech expertise, network of startups, and commitment to impactful innovation, helping bridge the gap between health technology and accessibility.
"Partnering with Disability Tech Denmark is a crucial step towards fostering a health tech ecosystem that prioritizes inclusivity from the ground up," said Line Knoop, Partnership Manager at Health Tech Hub Copenhagen. "At HTHC, we believe that innovation should serve everyone, and by collaborating with this important initiative, we’re taking active steps to ensure that health tech solutions are designed with—and for—people with disabilities."
This initiative will focus on creating opportunities for startups and innovators to explore solutions that address the unique needs of people with disabilities, while also promoting awareness and best practices around inclusive design.
As part of this growing collaboration, Disability Tech Denmark is hosting Innovationstopmødet 2025 (the Innovation Summit) on 4th April 2025. This flagship event will bring together technology, innovators, and community voices to create better lives for all. The summit will showcase the latest assistive tools and digital solutions that simplify daily life for people with disabilities, offering attendees the chance to explore groundbreaking projects, discuss the future of inclusive care, and engage in conversations about building a more accessible society.
Disability Tech Denmark brings together disability and patient organizations, startups, research institutions, and international actors in a unique collaboration. By working together on this event and future activities, the initiative aims to strengthen Denmark’s position as a leader in inclusive health technology, setting a standard for innovation that benefits all members of society.
