CareNet, a leading knowledge network for health and caretech solutions in Denmark, has announced a new collaboration with Health Tech Hub Copenhagen (HTHC), a prominent nonprofit organization committed to ensuring equal access to healthcare through the digitalization of health systems and the scaling of innovative solutions globally.
As part of the collaboration, HTHC joins the CareNet membership and CareNet becomes a Partner organisation in Health Tech Hub Copenhagen. HTHC is also a partner at CareNet’s flagship event, ’Velfærdsteknologi anno 2024’ (Annual Conference on Assistive Technology and CareTech Solutions 2024).
About CareNet
Founded in 2008, CareNet has grown to become Denmark's preferred network for sharing experiences and knowledge in the public sector. The network is facilitated as a collaboration between Danish.Care and Danish Technological Institute, and consists of a diverse array of members: municipalities, regions, private companies, knowledge institutions, associations, and public authorities. These members are united by their shared focus on the development, application, and dissemination of health and caretech solutions to improve care and welfare services.
Joint digital focus
With the partnership, CareNet aims to deepen its involvement in the digital health space. Health Tech Hub Copenhagen's focus on promoting large-scale adoption of health technology solutions aligns perfectly with CareNet's mission, according to Anders Lyck Fogh-Schultz, CareNet's Network Leader:
"HTHC's digital focus is particularly interesting for CareNet, and digital solutions and services have great potential, significantly overlapping with CareNet's work. In CareNet, we have a pronounced focus on the development, application, and dissemination of health and caretech solutions for care and welfare. Therefore, it makes perfect sense for us to ally ourselves with experts in digital health solutions like Health Tech Hub Copenhagen. In combination with our long-standing focus on physical tech-based technologies, the collaboration will provide us and our network with new and important knowledge about the digital domain.”
By joining CareNet, HTHC seeks to collaborate with other stakeholders in the field, exchange knowledge, and foster the development and implementation of innovative solutions that can address current challenges in healthcare. ”Our mission is to improve health and reduce health-related costs for people around the world – and here, health and caretech solutions plays a central role." says Partnership Manager Line Knoop-Rasmussen.
By combining their expertise, CareNet and Health Tech Hub Copenhagen aim to expand their networks and facilitate the exchange of knowledge, ultimately benefiting both patients and healthcare professionals.
