This interactive session will cover the following:  

- How hospital procurement teams are structured and how they make purchasing decisions.  

- Tendering processes, timelines and innovation pathways  

- Best practice for engaging with procurement teams and internal stakeholders, such as clinical, IT or innovation offices.  

- How to build a strong business case, including ROI, health economics and KPIs, and which compliance requirements (CE marking, ISO, GDPR and IT security) are essential for success.   

- Strategic alignment with hospitals' current priorities, including workforce challenges, outpatient care and digital transformation.  

The session will conclude with actionable dos and don'ts, a live Q&A and an open discussion on how solution providers can strengthen their market entry in Germany.  

About the speaker: 

Yari Holzer, Director of Medical Technology Procurement & Services at the University Hospital Tübingen, is responsible for procurement and service delivery of medical and laboratory technology. She is responsible for investment budgets, supplier strategy and compliance with public procurement law, as well as driving cross-departmental initiatives. Her role involves taking on commercial responsibility, steering budgets, optimising costs, and governing contracts.
