When founders meet investors, it’s usually across a pitch, and everyone is performing a little. This afternoon turns that around. A few investors take the hot seat, and you get to ask the questions.

Why attend?
Some questions never come up in a pitch meeting, because there’s too much riding on it. Here you can ask them openly and hear how investors from hardware and medtech, consumer health and health tech see things differently. And since investors tend to back people they already know, it’s a relaxed way to start those relationships before you need them.

Who can join?
Open to all health tech and medtech founders who are curious about how investors think, whether they’re raising now or laying the groundwork for future fundraising.

What is the format?
It’s a Hydration & Conversation, so it’s informal: drinks in hand, no slides, no script. The afternoon opens with an Ask Me Anything with the investor panel and carries on into networking and conversations in the room. Come for the questions, stay for the drinks.

Who will you meet?
We’re putting together a panel of investors and are aiming for a mix of perspectives across hardware and med-tech, consumer health and health tech. Names will be announced as they’re confirmed.

Hub members and ecosystem partners will be in the room too.

The New Nordics Health Tech Alliance’s Demo Day has two ways in: apply for one of Health Tech Hub’s two pitch spots, or watch twelve startups from many countries pitch in a single day – a rare chance to see what’s emerging across the New Nordics.

Why attend?
The twelve are pre-seed to seed health tech and medtech startups, and the event offers early access to deal flow and direct connections with ambitious founders, plus direct access to the alliance’s combined network of hubs, partners and clinical contacts.

Who is it for?
Everyone is welcome to listen in, including investors and health system representatives looking for an overview of the ecosystem. Hub members can also apply for one of our two pitching spots.

Want to pitch?
Health Tech Hub has two of the twelve pitching spots reserved for Hub members. If you want to be considered, reach out to Nicolas Bouchet.
Registration link is coming soon.

The New Nordics Health Tech Alliance brings together Health Founders (Estonia), Health Tech Hub (Denmark), Health Incubator Helsinki (Finland), DigitalWell Ventures (Sweden), Eitri Health Incubator (Norway), KLAK – Icelandic Startups (Iceland), Innovation Agency – Bio Tech Lab (Lithuania) and the Digital Health Association (Latvia). Organised by Health Founders on behalf of the New Nordics Health Tech Alliance.

You know how much capital you need to raise. But what valuation should you put on your company, and how do you make a credible case for it?

Why attend?
When revenue is limited, clinical evidence is still developing and regulatory milestones lie ahead, valuation can feel more like negotiation than calculation. The session helps you understand what investors look at and how to prepare: what drives valuation before meaningful revenue, how clinical evidence, regulatory progress and commercial traction influence their assessments, and how to build and defend a credible valuation.

Who is it for?
Early-stage health tech and medtech founders preparing to raise capital. Open to members and non-members.

What is the format?
Practical insights and discussion with two early-stage investors, and time to ask questions about your own fundraising challenges, including how to balance capital needs, dilution and expectations for future rounds. The session follows our funding bootcamp on dilution and cap tables.

Who will you meet?
Christoffer Melchior is a DanBAN member and active health business angel. Mathias Brink is a partner and CEO at Delphinus Venture Capital. Both bring perspectives from early-stage health and medtech investing.

Price
500 kr (excluding VAT) for Hub members, 1000 kr (excluding VAT) for non-members.
