For Health Tech Hub members
Want to meet angel investors actively investing in health tech and medtech?
We’re bringing DanBAN’s health tech investor network together with Health Tech Hub members for an afternoon of investor insights, startup pitches, roundtable discussions and networking.
Why attend
You’ll hear directly from active business angels about what they’re looking for right now, see first-hand the questions investors ask health tech companies when they dig deeper into an investment opportunity, and have plenty of opportunity to meet and network with investors throughout the afternoon.
Who it’s for
Health Tech Hub members who want to connect with early-stage investors in health tech and medtech – whether you’re fundraising now or building your investor network for later.
Two pitching slots are open
Two Health Tech Hub companies will have the opportunity to pitch to the investors. Each pitch is followed by a roundtable session where the investors can dig deeper, ask questions and discuss the company directly with the founders.
Not pitching? You’re still very welcome to join. You can listen in on the pitches and roundtable discussions, get a feel for what investors focus on, and connect with investors and fellow founders during the networking parts of the afternoon.
Interested in pitching? Contact Nicolas Bouchet directly at nicolas@healthtechhub.org. Deadline 30 October.

16NOVCommunity & NetworkingWomen's HealthMembersInvesting in women’s health – a Nordic Agenda for growth, equality and resilience09:00–11:00 · TalentGarden, Danneskiold-Samsøes Allé 41, 1434 KøbenhavnSign up
How do we turn ambitions into concrete solutions and ensure that more women benefit from the latest knowledge, timely diagnostics and equal access to treatment?
Why attend?
Investing in women’s health can improve quality of life, strengthen workforce participation and create value for both society and the economy. Yet significant challenges remain: women live longer than men but spend 25% more of their lives in poor health (World Economic Forum and McKinsey Health Institute, 2024). The event discusses how the Nordic countries can translate knowledge and evidence into better treatment options, stronger clinical guidelines and concrete policy initiatives.
Who is it for?
Hub members working with women’s health and femtech.
Politicians, patient representatives, researchers and healthcare leaders will be in the room.
Who’s behind it?
Health Tech Hub, DI – Confederation of Danish Industry, Roche, AbbVie, Novartis and Sanofi host this side event to the Copenhagen Summit for Gender Equality and Women’s and Girls’ Rights, convened by the Nordic ministers for gender equality.
Arrival and registration is from 08:30.
18NOVCommunity & NetworkingInvestment & FundingInvestorsMembersNew Nordics Healthtech Matchmaking at SlushHelsinkiSign up
Join us where Slush’ health tech investors actually gather
Slush pulls in around 13,000 founders and investors, and it’s among the largest concentrations of venture capital anywhere – roughly one VC for every two founders in the room. But with 6,000+ startups also attending, reaching the investors most relevant to you is its own challenge.
Why attend
This is one of the very few health tech-focused side events at Slush, and that’s exactly what makes it worth your time: it draws the majority of the city’s health tech investors into a single room. Last year it brought together almost 300 attendees, including around 150 investors – and this year is set to be even bigger. We’ll be there in person to help make the introductions, so you’re not navigating the room alone.
Who it’s for
Health tech startups attending Slush, or considering it, who want direct access to investors focused on the sector rather than the wider 6,000-startup crowd.
Format
A matchmaking side event on day one of Slush (18 November).

A limited number of booths are available for members, spots are competitive – apply to Nicolas Bouchet by Friday 2 October.

TBDCommunity & NetworkingInvestment & FundingInvestorsMembersHydration & Conversation: Ask investors anythingTalent Garden, Danneskiold-Samsøes Allé 41, 1434 KøbenhavnSign up
When founders meet investors, it’s usually across a pitch, and everyone is performing a little. This afternoon turns that around. A few investors take the hot seat, and you get to ask the questions.
Why attend?
Some questions never come up in a pitch meeting, because there’s too much riding on it. Here you can ask them openly and hear how investors from hardware and medtech, consumer health and health tech see things differently. And since investors tend to back people they already know, it’s a relaxed way to start those relationships before you need them.
Who can join?
Hub members and ecosystem partners who are curious about how investors think, whether you’re raising now or laying the groundwork for future fundraising.
What is the format?
It’s a Hydration & Conversation, so it’s informal: drinks in hand, no slides, no script. The afternoon opens with an Ask Me Anything with the investor panel and carries on into networking and conversations in the room. Come for the questions, stay for the drinks.
Who will you meet?
We’re putting together a panel of investors and are aiming for a mix of perspectives across hardware and med-tech, consumer health and health tech. Names will be announced as they’re confirmed.
Hub members and ecosystem partners will be in the room too.

The event will be in Danish, as is the following description.
